Hari Minggu malam, 6/11 kemarin, ajang MTV European Music Awards (The 2016 MTV EMAs) sukses di gelar di Ahoy Rotterdam, Belanda.
Dalam acara yang kali ini di hadiri oleh banyak selebritis dunia seperti Shawn Mendes, Bruno Mars, DNCE, G-Eazy, The Weeknd, Jaden Smith, dan masih banyak lagi.
Aktris baru, Bebe Rexha di tunjuk sebagai Host untuk tahun ini dan menghasilkan pemenang-pemenang di masing-masing kategorinya, di antaranya Lady GaGa sebagai 'Best Female', Shawn Mendes 'Best Male', lagu 'Sorry' Justin Bieber sebagai 'Best Song' dan video klip 'StarBoy' milik The Weeknd sebagai Video Terbaik tahun ini.
Malam itu, Band Rock legendaris Green Day yang meraih award 'Global Icon' tampil mengobati kerinduan penggemar nya, menghentak panggun EMAs dengan menyanyikan Hits single mereka 'American idiot'.
Sementara untuk kategori 'Best Southeast Asian Act' dimana Indonesia di wakili oleh Raisa masih gagal jadi pemenang, karena tahun ini penyanyi asal Vietnam, Dong Nhi.
