Banyak lagu-lagu Hits telah di ciptakan oleh penulis-penulis lagu hebat di seluruh dunia. Ketika mereka menciptakan lagu, kadang mereka sudah membayangkan, siapa penyanyi yang cocok untuk menyanyikan lagu-lagu mereka, namun tak sedikit juga yang hanya mencipta tanpa tahu siapa yang bakal mengisi suara dari karya indah mereka tersebut.
Walau sudah tahu akan diberikan kepada siapa, namun banyak juga ternyata, lagu-lagu Hits di dunia ini yang awalnya justru akan diberikan kepada penyanyi lain. Dan malah meraih sukses saat di nyanyikan oleh penyanyi yang pada awalnya tak direncanakan untuk mendapat lagu tersebut. Mulai dari Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Rihanna, dll pernah menolak sebuah lagu dan juga pernah menerima sebuah lagu 'buangan' dari penyanyi lain.
Coba kita lihat yuk 20 lagu yang awal rencananya akan diberikan untuk penyanyi lain :
1. We Found Love – Rihanna feat. Cavin Harris
Ditawarkan kepada: Nicole Scherzinger, Leona Lewis
Single fenomenal 'We Found Love' yang menjadi lagu Rihanna yang paling lama bertahta di puncak Billboard Hot 100 ini ternyata pernah ditawarkan oleh Calvin Harris kepada sejumlah artis lain. Pertama, Nicole Scherzinger. Alasan ketidakberhasilan Nicole merekam lagu ini adalah ia sedang sangat sibuk saat tawaran lagu menghampirinya. Kedua, Leona Lewis. Dalam masa mempersiapkan album studio ketiganya, Leona mendapati lagu ini sebagai salah satu materinya. Leona bahkan mengakui bahwa lagu ia sempat merekam lagu ini, tapi tak berniat untuk menyebarkan hasil rekamannya tersebut ke publik. Rihanna mengoleksi hits lain yang pernah ditawarkan ke artis lain. ‘S.O.S.’ sebelumnya ditawarkan untuk Christina Millian, ‘Disturbia’ untuk Chris Brown (dimana Chris akhirnya menyediakan vokal latar untuk Rihanna di lagu ini), dan juga ‘Umbrella’ untuk Britney Spears & Mary J.Blige.
2. Chasing The Sun - The Wanted
Awalnya akan di berikan untuk Kylie Minogue
Soundtrack film 'Ice Age 4' ini awalnya akan diberikan kepada penyanyi Kylie Minogue oleh penciptanya, Example. Namun entah mengapa ia langsung terpaku pada The Wanted. Tanpa memberi kesempatan bagi Kylie untuk mendengarkan lagu tersebut, Example malah langsung menyerahkan lagunya kepada The Wanted.
Ternyata pilihannya tak salah, single 'Chasing The Sun' meraih sukses besar dan turut mengangkat karier The Wanted ke seluruh dunia.
3. Can’t Get You Out Of My Head – Kylie Minogue
Ditawarkan kepada: Sophie Ellis Bextor
Lagu ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ menjadi salah satu lagu terbaik dalam sejarah karier musik Kylie Minogue. Kylie boleh menyesal pernah melepas lagu ‘Toxic’, tapi ia pasti begitu bersyukur atas lagu ini yang tak hanya sukses secara komersil, tapi Kylie juga memperoleh penghargaan tertinggi dalam ajang ARIA Music Awards dimana ia membawa pulang piala untuk Highest Selling Single dan Single of the Year berkat lagu ini. Video musiknya juga dianugerahi sebuah Moonman untuk kategori Best Choreography.

5. Forever Is Over – The Saturdays
Diperebutkan oleh: Kelly Clarkson dan The Saturdays
Lagu ini sempat diperebutkan oleh Kelly Clarkson dan Girlband, The Saturdays, namun akhirnya, sang pencipta, James Bourne memilih diberikan kepada Girlband asal Inggris ini.
6. Break Your Heart – Taio Cruz feat. Ludacris
Awalnya lagu ini akan diitawarkan kepada: Cheryl (Cole)
7. Don’t Cha – The Pussycat Dolls feat. Busta Rhymes
Ditawarkan kepada: Paris Hilton, Sugababes
Lagu seseksi dan sesensual ‘Don’t Cha’ memang pantas untuk sosok girlband Sugababes, yang kala itu, karier mereka tengah naik daun di Inggris. Tapi mungkin karena musiknya yang terlalu meng-Amerika sehingga trio itu gagal membawakannya. Lagu ini juga sempat akan diberikan kepada Paris Hilton yang kala itu tengah mengerjakan proyek musiknya. Paris pun tak berhasil membawakan ‘Don’t Cha’ sehingga The Pussycat Dolls-lah yang merilis lagu ini sebagai single andalan dari album debut mereka “PCD’. Meskipun ‘Stars Are Blind’ cukup populer, namun tidak menandingin popularitas ‘Don’t Cha’ ini.
8. Let’s Get Loud – Jennifer Lopez
Ditulis oleh dan untuk dinyanyikan oleh: Gloria Estefan
Awalnya, Gloria Estefan memang sengaja untuk menciptakan lagu ‘Let’s Get Loud’ ini bersama Kike Santander untuk ia nyanyikan sendiri. Tapi akhirnya lagu beralih ke tangan Jennifer Lopez dan terdapat dalam debut albumnya “On The 6″. Kesuksesan J.Lo dengan lagu ini memang tak sebesar yang ia peroleh lewat debut single ‘If You Had My Love’, tapi sebenarnya ‘Let’s Get Loud’ lah yang lebih lama bergema. Karena ia pasti akan selalu terdengar ketika musim sepakbola tiba. Entah itu Piala Dunia, Liga Champions, ataupun Piala Dunia Sepakbola Wanita. Selain lagu itu, lagu 'I’m Into You' yang ia bawakan bersama rapper Lil Wayne ternyata ditulis oleh Taio Cruz untuk artis lain.
9. Telephone – Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce
Ditawarkan kepada: Britney Spears
Saat dalam proses pengerjaan album “Circus”, Britney Spears merekam lagu ‘Telephone’ untuk dimasukkan ke dalam album tersebut. Tapi saat keputusan final, lagu tersebut tidak jadi dimasukkan ke dalam album “Circus” dan berakhir hanya sebagai demo saja untuk Britney. Tapi ternyata, sang pencipta, Lady Gaga membawakan lagunya dengan meminta bantuan kepada Beyonce dan akhirnya memasukkannya ke dalam album “The Fame Monster”. Gaga + Beyonce diunggulkan dalam Grammy untuk kategori Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals atas kerjasamanya ini. Britney juga kehilangan kesempatan untuk merekam salah satu lagu pop paling infectious, ‘Milkshake’. Lagu ini akhirnya dinyanyikan oleh Kelis.
10. Whataya Want From Me – Adam Lambert
Ditulis oleh dan untuk dinyanyikan oleh: Pink
Tampaknya terlalu banyak track yang dipersiapkan untuk album kompilasi Pink, sehingga ia harus merelakan sebagiannya terbuang begitu saja. Salah satunya adalah ‘Whataya Want From Me’ ini, yang ditulis Pink bersama Max Martin. Lagu ini akhirnya diserahkan kepada Adam Lambert untuk dimasukkan ke dalam album studio pertamanya, “For Your Entertainment”. Setelah dirilis sebagai single kedua dari album tersebut, Adam berhasil mencatat namanya di jajaran Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 berikut diunggulkan untuk Grammy dalam kategori Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
11. Hero – Mariah Carey
Ditulis untuk dinyanyikan oleh: Gloria Estefan
Walter Afanasieff, penulis lagu populer 'Hero' berkeinginan untuk memasukkan lagunya sebagai soundtrack film 'Hero'. Tapi sayangnya, film “Hero” menggunakan lagu ‘Heart of a Hero’ milik Luther Vandross, sehingga kesempatan Walter pun lenyap. Lagu ini dikerjakan oleh Walter bersama Mariah Carey saat sesi pengerjaan album “Music Box”. Mereka berkolaborasi menghasilkan ‘Hero’ untuk dinyanyikan oleh Gloria Estefan. Tapi ketika bos Sony Music kala itu, Tommy Mottola mendengarnya, ia melarang lagu ini untuk lari dari pelukan Mariah. Mariah tak hanya berhasil menjadikan lagu ini sebagai sebuah hit, tapi juga lagu paling bermakna sepanjang sejarah.
12. Baby One More Time – Britney Spears
Ditawarkan kepada: TLC
Britney menuai kesuksesan berkat lagu 'Baby One More Time' yang pertama kali ternyata di tawarkan kepada, TLC, yang akan dimasukkan ke dalam album mereka “Fan Mail”. Britney juga orang yang beruntung. Meskipun dia gagal menyabet ‘Telephone’ dan ‘Umbrella’, tapi ia berhasil mendapatkan ‘Baby One More Time’ berikut ‘Toxic’ dari tangan Kylie Minogue (dimana Britney berhasil mendapatkan Grammy pertamanya untuk kategori Best Dance Recording), ‘I’m A Slave 4 U’ dari tangan Janet Jackson, dan juga ‘Hold It Against Me’ dari tangan Katy Perry.

14. Since U Been Gone – Kelly Clarkson
Ditawarkan kepada: Pink, Hilary Duff
Hit terbesar Kelly Clarkson ternyata adalah lagu yang pernah ditolak oleh artis lain. Penulis lagu ‘Since U Been Gone’, Max Martin dan Dr. Luke awalnya mendekati Pink agar ia bisa menyanyikan lagu pop rock ini. Karena tak berhasil, mereka membawanya kepada Hilary Duff yang saat itu juga mulai menanjak sebagai seorang artis pop rock. Akhirnya mereka berhasil menjadikan lagu ini hit dengan vokal seorang American Idol. Kelly memenangkan Best Female Pop Vocal Performance Grammy berkat lagu ini, berikut keberhasilan serupa di ajang musik bergengsi lainnya. Kelly juga menampung lagu “bekas” artis lain dan menyulapnya menjadi hit, seperti ‘Miss Independent’ yang aslinya adalah untuk album “Stripped” Christina Aguilera dan juga ‘Breakaway’ yang awalnya hendak dinyanyikan oleh Avril Lavigne.
15. Because You Loved Me – Celine Dion
Dipertimbangkan untuk dinyanyikan oleh: Toni Braxton
Salah satu hit terpenting dalam sejarah karir Celine Dion ternyata adalah lagu yang bukan disengaja ditulis untuk dirinya. Diane Warren yang kerap menulis lagu untuk soundtrack film ditawari oleh Presiden Walt Disney Motion Picture Group untuk membuat sebuah lagu yang akan dipakai untuk film “Up Close & Personal”. Setelah menyaksikan filmnya, ia berhasil menciptakan ‘Because You Loved Me’ yang ternyata adalah berdasarkan inspirasi yang ia peroleh dari sang ayah. Karena tidak punya saran vokal siapa yang akan digunakan untuk lagu ini, nama Toni Braxton muncul sebagai pertimbangan. Tapi Presiden WDMPG yang akhirnya memutuskan Celine adalah orangnya. Alhasil, Diane memenangkan Grammy pertamanya berkat lagu ini. Tak hanya ini, ternyata lagu ‘Taking Chances’-nya Celine juga aslinya bukan diciptakan untuk dirinya, tapi untuk Platinum Weird, duo Kara DioGuardi dan Dave Stewart yang juga menulis lagu tersebut bersama-sama. Platinum Weird telah merekam lagu ini ini untuk album mereka yang gagal rilis.
16. Rock Your Body oleh Justin Timberlake
Ditawarkan kepada: Michael Jackson
'Rock Your Body' adalah sebuah lagu yang The Neptunes hasilkan untuk comeback-nya Michael Jackson lewat “Invincible” di tahun 2001. Sayangnya lagu ini tidak terpakai oleh sang legenda sehingga mereka menjualnya kepada icon pop lainnya, Justin Timberlake. JT pun mengubah nasib lagu ini dari sebuah buangan oleh The King of Pop menjadi sebuah hit oleh The Prince of Pop!

Penyanyi pendatang baru Ellie Goulding menyatakan kalau ia tak suka di foto. Ellie yang kekasih dari Dj Skrillex ini menyatakan, ia tak suka dengan beberapa angle wajahnya ketika di jepret kamera.
"Aku tak suka beberapa angle wajahku ketika di foto, makanya aku heran melihat orang yang bisa di foto dengan banyak macam pose, sedangkan aku, pasti hanya bisa melakukan satu pose standar saja" Ujar penyanyi bernama asli Elena Jane Goulding ini sambil tersenyum.
Padahal, Ellie memiliki wajah yang sangat cantik,lihat saja dalam PhotoShoot majalah Paper edisi terbaru, yang menjadikan penyanyi "Your Song" ini sebagai cover utama, Ellie memiliki paras yang cantik dengan rambut pirangnya.
Selain memiliki suara yang indah, Ellie juga jago menciptakan lagu, dan untuk album keduanya "Halycon" yang akan segera rilis, Ellie menyatakan kalau masih ada banyak lagu-lagu sedih di album keduanya nanti.
Untuk urusan pribadi, Ellie memilki masalah dengan ayahnya, hubungan Ellie dengan sang ayah tidak berjalan dengan baik, karena orang tuanya telah berpisah sejak ia berumur 5 tahun, dan Ellie hidup bersama ibunya.

Kedahsyatan lagu-lagu ciptaan Adele, udah ga diraguin lagi, ditambah kemampuan vokal nya yang juga luar biasa, membuat lagu-lagu Adele sukses di pasaran, termasuk "Rolling In The Deep".
Ga hanya masyarakat biasa, seorang Diva seperti Celine Dion pun sangat menyukai lagu galau tersebut, saking suka nya, Celine menyanyikan lagu tersebut di salah satu konser nya di Las Vegas pada hari Sabtu 9/6 lalu.
Kualitas suara Celine yang lebih dewasa dan berpengalaman, bikin lagu ini juga terdengar "enak" dibawakannya. Celine juga diberitakan akan segera merilis album barunya pada akhir tahun nanti.

Gelaran akbar piala Eropa 2012 yang akan segera dimulai pada 8 Juni - 1 Juli 2012 di dua negara, Ukraina dan Polandia.
Selain euforia pertandingan yang akan terdengar luar biasa, kehadiran Theme Song disetiap pertandingan olah raga dunia juga selalu ditunggu-tunggu, dan kali ini yang mendapat kesempatan emas mengisi Theme Song nya adalah seoarng penyanyi Afro-Jerman bernama Oceana.
Penyanyi kelahiran tahun 1982 ini menyanyikan single berjudul "Endless Summer" yang resmi menjadi Theme Song piala eropa kali ini. Pemilihan Oceana bukan tanpa sebab, ia adalah salah satu penyanyi terbaik dibelahan Eropa saat ini, penyanyi kribo ini udah memiliki banyak prestasi dalam akrier musiknya dari tahun 1998 lalu.
Oceana memiliki album berjudul "Love Supply" dengan Hits single "Cry Cry" yang pernah sukses menjadi no.1 di Chart Music Hungaria. Sedangkan untuk single "Endless Summer" ini juga udah berhasil berada diururtan 40 Chart musik Jerman.
Di Piala Eropa tahun 2008 di Austria-Swiss , lagu "Like A Superstar" yang dibawain Trix & Flix Ft.Shaggy yang jadi Theme Song nya.

Lady GaGa me-rilis single terbarunya "Stuck On F***in You" yang ga ada di album "Born This Way" karena lagu ini emank bener-bener baru diciptain GaGa disela-sela Konser nya dan dibikin sebagai hadiah natal bagi fansnya.

Katy Perry dan Lady Gaga merupakan dua dari beberapa musisi yang
lagunya dicekal oleh Kementrian Budaya Cina karena adanya konten vulgar
dalam lagu tersebut. Lagu Katy Perry yang berjudul 'Last Friday Night'
dan lagu dari Backstreet Boys yang berjudul 'I Want It That Way' tidak
mendapatkan persetujuan oleh pihak Kementrian dan karenanya harus
dihapus dari berbagai situs di Cina pada 15 September.
Hingga saat ini belum ada kejelasan bagaimana kriteria pemilihan lagu yang tercekal. Lady Gaga sendiri menyumbang enam lagu yang masuk ke daftar hitam, yaitu The Edge of Glory, Hair, Marry the Night, Americano, Judas dan Bloody Mary dimana beberapa diantaranya juga dinyanyikan oleh musisi dari Taiwan dan Hong Kong.
Tidak hanya lagu yang tidak diperbolehkan diputar di radio, tapi juga bila musisi yang masuk kedalam daftar hitam tersebut ingin mengadakan konser di Cina maka harus memiliki persetujuan dari pemerintah Cina.
Beberapa waktu yang lalu bahkan seorang Bob Dylan harus menyanyikan daftar lagu yang sudah disediakan oleh pemerintah Cina ketika mengadakan konser di negeri tirai bambu tersebut.
