Burberry‘s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey presented his final collection for British luxury fashion house during London Fashion Week after 17 years doing his best.
The collection is Reflecting the past, Celebrating the present, Heralding the future. A patchwork of characters and identities. A riot of colour. Traditional
techniques reimagined to create exquisite new finishes, rediscovered
pieces made new.
With Burberry's favorit muse, Cara Delevingne who closed the show, and Burberry's ad campaign star, Adwoa Aboah opened this beautiful show and ended with Bailey's last bow.
My final collection here at Burberry is dedicated to – and in support of – some of the best and brightest organisations supporting LGBTQ+ youth around the world. There has never been a more important time to say that in our diversity lies our strength, and our creativity. – Christopher Bailey, Burberry President and Chief Creative Officer.
As a part of the runway collection, Burberry has released a capsule collection of reissued pieces from the brand’s archive, featuring the Rainbow check, the latest iteration of Burberry’s most iconic symbol.
