Mendapat Piala Oscar merupakan sebuah prestasi tertinggi untuk seorang aktor. Tapi sayang, hanya sebulan setelah Jared Leto menerima piala 'Best Supporting Actor' untuk perannya dalam 'Dallas Buyers Club', vokalis band '30 Second To Mars' itu mengakui bahwa patung emasnya sudah rusak karena terjatuh oleh nya.
Jared sempat membiarkan beberapa orang untuk berfoto dengan piala Oscar pertamanya itu.

Malam kemeriahan ajang Golden Globes Awards 2014 telah usai di gelar semalam di Beverly Hills Hotel, California pada hari Minggu malam 12/1.
Film 'American Hustle' meraih sukses besar dengan memenangkan kategori 'Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical', 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical' oleh Amy Adams, dan 'Best Performing by a Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture' oleh Jennifer Lawrence. Cate Blanchett meraih award untuk 'Best Actress in a Drama' untuk film 'Blue Jasmine', Matthew McConaughey menang 'Best Actor in a Drama' untuk film 'Dallas Buyers Club'.
Di kategori acara televisi, serial Breaking Bad, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, dan Behind the Candelabra meraih masing-masing 2 award.
Dalam pesta Golden Globes ke 71 ini, para selebritis kelas dunia datang, di antaranya ada Jared Leto, Emma Watson, Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey dan istrinya Camila Alves, Cate Blanchett, Leonardo DiCaprio, dan masih banyak yang lain.
