The Weeknd menjadi penyanyi yang paling sukses merebut piala paling banyak yakni 8 penghargaan sekaligus. Sementara, Britney mendapat penghargaan khusus Billboard Millennium Award. Selain itu, Britney juga tampil menyanyikan
beberapa hits nya secara medley di panggung #BBMAs.
Ia pun men-dedikasikan penghargaan ini untuk mendiang Prince
