Call Me Carly !

Penyanyi pendatang baru asal Kanada, Carly Rae Jepsen yang sukses dengan single Hitsnya "Call Me Maybe", benar-benar merasakan efek luar biasa terhadap kariernya setelah single fenomenal tersebut.

 

Berada di bawah label dan Management yang sama dengan Justin Bieber dan The Wanted, membuat gadis 27 tahun ini seolah mendapat kesempatan sukses lebih gampang dan lebih cepat dibanding yang lain. Setelah ini, perjalannan karier nya akan berlanjut dengan merilis album perdana "KISS" pada 18 September mendatang.

Saat tampil sebagai cover majalah "Fashion" terbitan Kanada, Carly menjelaskan tentang album pertamanya ini yang dianggapnya sebagai  pakaian rancangan Versace dan atau Moschino yang elegant, penuh warna, dan romantis.

"Lagu-lagu baruku ini seperti koleksi rancangan Versace atau Moschino. Musikku berhiaskan berlian, penuh warna, romantis dan bersinar" Ujar Canadian Idol ini bangga.

Menjadi The New Rising Star di industri musik dunia, membuat Carly yakin, dia akan bisa menjadi yang terbaik.

 "Aku hanya ingin menjadi Carly Rae yang terbaik, walau tak ada yang bisa melakukan sehebat apa yang dilakukan Britney dulu, dia sangat hebat, dan aku ingin menjadi hebat juga dengan caraku sendiri" Papar nya.

Di majalah ini Carly tampil sangat cantik dengan memakai baju koleksi Alexander Mc.Queen dan sepatu Christian Louboutin yang Glamour.

Carly Rae Jepsen On Billboard Magz

The New Shinin' Star dari Canada, Carly Rae Jepsen yang sukses menggebrak dengan berada di posisi 1 Billboard HOT 100 minggu ini, langsung didaulat untuk jadi cover depan majalah Billboard edisi Juli 2012.

On her skyrocketing success :

"Pretty much every day, there’s a moment where I’m having to pinch myself and think, ‘When did this happen to my life?’"

On being an artist in the music making business :
"What I really love about [it] is that, despite all this craziness the creative process remains the same. And that same exciting feeling that I had before anybody knew me, when I was just beginning to work on ‘Call Me Maybe,’ is the same feeling I had today with RedFoo from LMFAO. You can sense the people who really have it are about writing that right word or that right melody to make it lift and make you feel that perfect emotion."

On her positive mentality :
"it's the same mentality I had on 'Canadian Idol'. I placed third on that show, and everyone was like, 'are you upset that you didn't win?' I was like, 'No, I'm so stoked that I came in third!' It's farther than I thought I would go."

Manager Scooter Braun on Miss Jepsen's will to succeed:
"I sat down Carly in my backyard and said, ‘This is not going to be fun. You’re going to be so tired.’ And she looked at me and said, ‘Scooter, I don’t care how hard I have to work. I’m going to do it. This is what I’ve wanted my entire life."
