Ajang 'The 75th Golden Globe Awards' atau Golden Globes 2018 usai digelar pada hari Minggu malam, 7 Januari lalu di Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, California dan disiarkan live di NBC.
Ajang tertinggi bagi insan film dan pertelevisian hollywood itu tahun ini dipandu oleh host talkshow, Seth Meyers. Film 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' dan serial 'Big Little Lies' meraih paling banyak penghargaan yakni masing-masing 4 piala.
Sementara Oprah Winfrey meraih penghargaan khusus 'Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award', dimana malam itu pidato Oprah juga banyak menuai pujian sebagai role model perempuan yang hebat.
Tahun ini ajang Golden Globes terasa berbeda dimana para selebritis hadir dengan memakai baju berwarna hitam. Hal ini sengaja dilakukan untuk mendukung program #TIMEISUP #MeToo yang menolak pelecehan seksual yang banyak dialami artis wanita di tahun 2017 kemarin.
Natalie Portman, Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, dll mengajak selebritis lain untuk mensupport kegiatan amal ini agar tak ada lagi wanita-wanita dimanapun yang dilecehkan secara fisik dan mental.
