Queen of Katwe star Lupita Nyong’o lands the cover story of VogueUSA October 2016 edition lensed by fashion photographer Mario Testino.
While in Kisumu for her Vogue cover shoot, Lupita Nyong’o stopped by her
parents’ home for a walk through their farm with her father, to climb
fruit trees, and to learn to cook ugali from her mother—just over a year
ago the Oscar-winning actress made national Kenyan news when she
revealed that she did not know how to make the local staple. Director
Lotfy Nathan helps her set the record straight.
