Di hadiri oleh banyak selebritis hollywood seperti Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lady GaGa, Taraji.P Henson, dll. Event ini menjadi sorotan dunia yang penasaran, siapa yang meraih piala Golden Globes 2016.
Dan akhirnya, film 'The Revenant' sukses menjadi film terbaik, dan aktor pemainnya, Leonardo DiCaprio juga sukses meraih Best Actor, sementara Lady GaGa yang baru terjun ke dunia akting, sukses meraih Golden Globes berkat akting kece nya sebagai 'The Countess', di serial sukses 'American Horror Story - Hotel'.
Sementara aktor gaek, Sylvester Stallone, sukses memenangkan kategori Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture untuk aktingnya di film remake 'Rocky', yang berjudul 'Creed', dimana Sly kini berperan sebagai seorang pelatih Tinju.
