Nominasi Oscar 2014

Hari Kamis pagi, 16/1 kemarin Nominasi The 86th Academy Awards atau Oscar 2014 telah di umumkan di Samuel Goldwyn Theater, Beverly Hills, California.

 

Presiden The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Cheryl Boone Isaacs , membacakan nominasi dengan di bantu oleh aktor pemeran 'Thor', Chris Hemsworth.


Aktor/aktris yang masuk dalam nominasi tahun ini antara lain Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew McConaughey, Leonardo DiCaprio,  Amy Adams, Lupita Nyong'o, dan Julia Roberts yang juga kemarin sukses di ajang Golden Globes. Film  'Gravity' dan 'American Hustle' sama-sama mendominasi dengan 10 nominasi. Sementara, film '12 Years a Slave' mengikuti di belakangnya dengan 9 nominasi dan 'Nebraska' 'Captain Phillips' dan 'Dallas Buyers Club' dengan masing-masing enam nominasi.


'Gravity' mendapatkan nominasi di hampir semua kategori yang paling bergengsi, seperti Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, hingga Best Original Score.

Acara utama Oscar 2014 akan di gelar pada hari Minggu 2 Maret mendatang di Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California dengan Host Ellen DeGeneres.

Sementara ada juga beberapa nama yang awalnya di duga akan masuk nominasi tahun, namun ternyata tak ada di list Oscar tahun ini, seperti Oprah Winfrey, Scarlett Johansson, Emma Thompson dan Tom Hanks. Begitu juga dengan film Indonesia 'Sang Kyai' yang ikut di daftarkan untuk masuk kategori 'Best Foreign Film', tahun ini masih gagal lolos jadi Nominasi.
